This guitar is the balm (say what?)

This is an ’89 Fender Custom Shop Strat. It was also a gift from my pop.

This guitar has the authentic strat sound. There’s tons of tonal beauty oozing in all pickup configurations.

I spend quite a bit of time in toggle position one and two – Both settings offer tone that is very soothing. To cut through, I go to four. Even when adding all the clarity in position five, the recognizable sort of shelf at the top is also crystal clear, and simultaneously warm. There is no harshness whatsoever, even when cranked.

This guitar is excellent for recording.

The body is swamp ash. The neck is Birdseye Maple with an ebony fretboard. The fret dots are abalone.

Spent most of his life having a love affair with guitar (and gear).
